199V finally drops his "twentytwo" album

199V just singlehandedly delivered one of the best projects to come out Montreal this summer. His latest drop, the long built-up twentytwo album comes chock full of diverse subject matter, beat styles and rap flows to keep you listening without pressing that skip button. With heavy production by Jei Bandit assisted by the likes of Planet Giza, jåmvvis, Dear Lola and Rawssi, the project is a must listen for any fan of today’s modern sound as well as lyrical content.

The main theme of the album is one most can definitely relate to; change. V’s album revolves heavily around his lifestyle change following his first album’s release at the same time of his best friend & collaborator Valentino’s death, who even has a song titled after him on the EP where V speaks in the perspective of his late homie. The album comes off the back of 3 singles, the most recent, Too Fast, which dropped as a music video, as well as Way Too Much, featuring Jei Bandit & JT Soul, and the Planet Giza-produced Island tune.

199V’s ‘twentytwo‘ album is available now for stream & purchase everywhere. Don’t miss the release party tonight (September 28th) at Le Belmont in Montreal, with a lineup of heavy artists like Mike Shabb, Wasiu, Dear Lola, Jei Bandit, jåmvvis, JT Soul and more including a guest appearance by Planet Giza and Fvckrender. Event sponsored by ODDIO, Loclasse and Build The Hype.
