Jon Rivera’s first EP, First Things First, releases after a long process, which saw the artist changing of his name, image and sound. Entirely produced by Jon and longtime collaborator/composer myDirtyhaircut, loaded with co-production credits by Realmind (YG, Loud, Coeur de Pirate), Freakey! (Don Toliver, Hamza, Pressa), Tim Buron (Charlotte Cardin, Loud), Miko and Yuki Dreams Again. The EP is filled with different flavours that reflect Jon’s personality and growth in the last year. Supported by 2 Music Videos and 3 performance videos, the 7 track EP serves as Jon re-introducing himself, in grand fashion. Sonically, a genuine evolution from his previous artistic endeavours.
The project's lead single "Break From Montreal" comes produced by Realmind (YG, Loud, Coeur de Pirate) and Freakey! (Pressa, Hamza, Don Toliver). The track features heavy trap drums over strong 808 and Jon’s contagious topline.
