The Goodbye, Lightspeed EP was nothing short of a huge step-up in young Jon Rivera’s career. The EP showed growth in all aspects of the Montreal songwriter’s game. As you might have heard on Virgin Radio and making it’s rounds on the turntables, Jon's Gossip, the EP’s fourth track, has clearly been making waves this since the project’s release and now Jon finally releases the anticipated visuals for the hit.
The music video plays on the fact that the visuals are months late and depicts Jon walking through a video shoot while the crew and his team are rushing and directing him through the set. As the song progresses things on set start to go wrong as crew members start messing up and crossing through shots, Jon gets annoyed and starts wilding out with his boys.
The video comes directed by Xavier Cantin-Lemieux and D.O.P. Mathéo Lemay for La Maison Bald Man and of course production by none other than myDirtyhaircut, who composed the entire EP.
