Jon Rivera drops the perfect follow-up to his “Tainted Colors” single with his latest summer hit “Switch Sides”! The young latino definitely has a knack for crafting summer bangers, exemplified perfectly through his past 2 summer hits “Loud” in 2018 and “Gossip” in 2019. Where “Tainted Colors” was the club anthem, “Switch Sides” falls into a beach party category with its swaying guitars and rhythmic percussions.
The song comes composed by Jon's personal producer myDirtyhaircut, who produced his successful 2019 “Goodbye, Lightspeed” EP, with assistance by the Silent Noise duo consisting of Tonino Muro and Billy Williams. myDirtyhaircut’s signature acoustic sounds are ever-present while Silent Noise brings their touch of dance rhythm, making for a great summer single.
“Switch Sides” is Jon's fourth release of 2020 and, though the artist had his sets at Metro Metro, Ottawa Bluesfest and more cancelled this year, he shows no signs of slowing up as he preps for the rollout of his next project, due for Spring 2021.
